Forecaster warns of an early spring in 2025
Spring will come early in Moscow, said the leading expert of the weather center "Fobos" Evgeny Tishkovets on January 10.
He noted that the 2025th began abnormally warm, with a temperature deviation of 4-12 degrees from the climatic norm.
"By the end of the season, the average air temperature in Moscow, in general, will be five degrees warmer than normal, which puts a cross on the real winter. However, of course, this does not cancel its frosty and snowy accumulations with winter surprises," the forecaster said.
Tishkovets added that residents of the capital should not count on abundant precipitation.
"The average monthly air temperature in March is predicted to be four degrees above normal, and April is expected to be three degrees warmer than the multiyear values of meteostatistics, indicating a high probability of premature onset of spring," he said.
The expert explained: climatic spring in Moscow will come earlier than March 21, and by early April the snow cover will melt.
Earlier, January 4, on the portal "Meteovest" weather center "Fobos" reported that in mid-January in Central Russia is expected a powerful Arctic invasion. It was noted that in the middle and southern latitudes of the European part of Russia, the temperature anomaly may exceed -2 degrees.
