About 112.7 million rubles have been allocated for anti-terrorist security of schools in the Transbaikal Territory. The money was distributed among 31 educational institutions, the press service of the regional Ministry of Finance reported on Friday, January 10.

Funds were allocated from the regional budget, writes IA ChitaMedia. The funds were used to install street lighting, fences and video surveillance systems on the territory of schools.

According to Vera Antropova, head of the Zabaikalsk Ministry of Finance, all schools included in the overhaul program are checked for antiterrorist security.

Earlier in December it was reported that three schools will be overhauled in Chita in 2025. Repair works are planned in educational institutions No. 14, 25 and 52.
