Sobyanin summarized the work of Moscow museums in 2024

More than 17 million people visited museums and exhibitions of the capital last year. This was reported by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his Telegram channel.

According to the capital's mayor, the most popular among citizens and guests of the city were the Moscow Zoo, museum-reserves "Tsaritsyno", "Kolomenskoye", "Ostankino and Kuskovo", as well as the museum association "Museum of Moscow" and the Museum of Cosmonautics.

"One of the main projects of the year is the exhibition "Moskvichka. Women of the Soviet Capital 1920-1930s" in the Museum of Moscow. It was visited by more than 60 thousand people", - wrote Sergey Sobyanin.

In addition, in 2024 more than 600 concerts, festivals, theatrical performances, lectures, conferences and forums were held in museums and exhibitions in the capital, where about 1.3 million visitors visited. The Moscow Museum Week, a project launched in 2019 and attracting more than 4.5 million visitors, was traditionally held monthly in Moscow.
