Guests of the Snow and Ice in Moscow festival can watch the life of a huge virtual snowman. An unusual audiovisual sculpture was installed in Sokolniki Park.

Artists of the Moscow studio of interactive design created "Sculptovik" specially for the project "Winter in Moscow". The installation is almost eight meters high and consists of three LED-cubes placed on top of each other - the viewer can easily guess the image of a snow figure, which everyone knows from childhood.

But the real magic begins when you look at the sculpture from a certain angle: inside the cubes there is an illusion of three-dimensional space, in which the main character - the Snowman - comes to life. The authors used the effect of anamorphic perception Naked eye, thanks to which the video content creates an amazing 3D illusion on flat screens.

The audience will witness a continuous creative process: a snowdrift grows inside the cube, from which the snowman is born. He tries on different professions and characters: here he is a musician, playing the violin, in the next minute - a painter or an actor. The snowman transforms and changes shape, as if he is in constant search of an ideal. Children will be attracted to this installation by the bright dynamic picture, and adults will be reminded that creativity is not only a result, but also an exciting process of searching for perfection. You can see "Sculptovik" until January 20 from 10:00 to midnight in Sokolniki Park.

In total, more than37 ice sculptures and 10 light installations decorated the capital this winter as part of the festival "Snow and Ice in Moscow". More than 30 participants from different regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus and Uzbekistan worked on them. The art objects were installed in 10 popular recreation places of Muscovites, including the Museon Art Park, Gorky Park, Chistoprudny Boulevard, Sokolniki, Bauman Garden, Izmailovsky Park and others.
