The degree of trust of Russians in President Vladimir Putin is 77.1%, according to a survey by the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research (VTsIOM). The survey data were published on January 10 on the organization's website.

Approval of Putin's performance, in turn, was expressed by 75% of respondents.

"Levels of positive assessment of the work of Prime Minister [Mikhail Mishustin] and the Russian government over the past week amounted to 52.2% (+0.7 pp. per week) and 50.3% (+0.5 pp. per week), respectively," VTsIOM notes.

As for Russians' trust in the heads of Russian parties, the following data are given: Gennady Zyuganov (CPRF) - 37.2%, Sergey Mironov ("Fair Russia - For Truth") - 32.1%, Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) - 25.0%, Alexei Nechayev ("New People") - 10.2%. 61% of respondents expressed confidence in Mishustin.

1.6 thousand adult Russians took part in the survey, conducted between December 23 and 27, 2024.

The day before, on January 9, according to the results of the VTsIOM poll, Putin became the leader of the rating of the main politicians of 2024. The Russian president has been consistently ranked first in this rating since its compilation began in 2006.

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted back in early July that the high level of support for Putin among Russians was due to the results of his daily responsible work.
