The farewell ceremony for Maxim Yeliseyev, editor of Izvestia TV channel, has begun

A farewell to Izvestia TV channel editor Maxim Yeliseyev, who was killed in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone, began in Moscow Region on Friday, January 10.

A large number of people came to see the journalist off on his last journey, bringing flowers. The song "Cranes" was also played. At the cemetery, the guard of honor made a mourning salute with volleys from carbines to the anthem of Russia.

In the fall of 2022, the journalist left professional activity and went to the front as a volunteer, he served as a signalman. Eliseev died on December 26, 2024 in the combat zone.
