The New Year's show "The Wizard from Veliky Ustyug" runs at the Gorbunov Palace of Culture in Moscow until January 12.

Acrobat Innokenty Tarakanov noted that the spectacular somersaults, which can be seen from the first minutes of the performance, will surprise both children and adults. He emphasized that this spectacle attracts attention, thanks to which young spectators will be able to stay focused for a long time.

"Not all children are able to sit for very long. The play is put together compactly," he noted.

The plot is based on how Santa's helpers mixed up the presents. As a result, on January 1, the girl Katya finds under the tree is not a trampoline, which ordered in the letter, and a teddy bear.

Actress Ekaterina Vinogradova, who performs the main role, noted that the soft toy became her full-fledged partner on stage, because it is she who accompanies the heroine throughout the story.

"He is the reason why I am embarking on this incredible journey," she said.

Instead of traditional sets, graphics created by the design team are used. In addition, acrobats perform alongside regular actors on the same stage.

"The content is synchronized with the actors' actions. That is, if, for example, the actors are running down a slide, the slide runs towards them," said director Alexandra Loviannikova.
