The total duration of temporary disability of working Russians due to diseases is planned to be reduced by 15% by 2030 compared to the figure in 2023. This is stated on January 9 in the unified plan to achieve national development goals until 2030 and with a forecast until 2036.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova was appointed responsible for achieving the indicators.

"Reduction of the total duration of temporary disability due to illness of working citizens, 2023 - 100%, 2030 - 85%," the document says.

Based on the assigned plan, the main factors and tools contributing to the achievement of the indicator will be to reduce the incidence of disease among working people by increasing the number of Russians who lead a healthy lifestyle and systematically undergo medical examinations.

Earlier, on January 9, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved a unified plan to achieve national development goals until 2030 and in the future until 2036. It is noted that the plan will become the main reference point in the work of the Cabinet, ministries, departments, regional administrations, development institutions and state companies to fulfill the tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On the same day, State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab said that many social payments will be increased in Russia in 2025. According to her, all existing social support measures will continue to work.
