Moscow restaurateur Kirill Gusev died at the age of 53
Famous Russian restaurateur Kirill Gusev died in Moscow at the 54th year of life. This was reported on Thursday, January 9, by a source of "Izvestia".
According to his data, in the morning Gusev's wife called an ambulance because of speech impairment. He was taken to the hospital with a suspected transient ischemic attack, where he was connected to a ventilator, but the restaurateur died.
Gusev's death was also confirmed on social media by a number of gastrobloggers and restaurant reviewers who expressed their condolences.
Gusev was co-owner of the Restaurant Syndicate holding company. His career began in the 2000s and his projects include such legendary restaurants as Oblomov, Bistrot, Fish, Nabi and Zolotoy. In 2012, he was recognized as Restaurateur of the Year by GQ magazine.
