Forecasters predict cloudy weather at the weekend in Moscow

On the weekend, January 11 and 12, Muscovites are expected to face cloudy weather. Rain with snow is possible on these days, "Izvestia" was told on January 10 in the service "Yandex Weather".

Thus, on Saturday, January 11, rain with snow is expected in Moscow during the day. Gusts of moderate southeastern wind will reach 5 m/s. In the morning the temperature will be +4, in the afternoon will remain at this level, and by night will fall to 0...+1.

In cities near Moscow, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the temperature during the day will be about one degree below Moscow values.

The next day, January 12, the weather in the capital will remain cloudy, rain with snow is expected in the afternoon. The temperature in the morning will be 0, in the evening will fall to -1, and at night will remain at -2...-1. A weak wind is expected, gusts will reach 3.2 m/s in the afternoon. In the central districts of the capital - Tverskaya, Arbat, Tagansky, Yakimanka - throughout the day the temperature will be one degree higher than in the rest of the city.

According to forecasters, in the Moscow region, conditions will remain similar to those in the capital: in the second half of the day will be rain with snow, and the temperature will be at the level of Moscow values or one degree lower.

Earlier, on January 4, on the portal "Meteovest" weather center "Fobos" reported that in mid-January in Central Russia is expected a powerful Arctic invasion. The average temperature will become lower than multiyear values. This cooling will take over the first days of the third decade of the month.
