Surgeon Lonskaya was charged in the case of failed surgery on the wife of the head of FEOR

Surgeon Ekaterina Lonskaya has been re-prosecuted in the case of a failed blepharoplasty on the wife of the head of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia, Inna Boroda. This was reported to "Izvestia" on Thursday, January 9, by lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky.

Earlier Lonskaya was charged with providing services that do not meet safety requirements (part 2 of article 238), now she is accused of causing serious harm to health by negligence (part 2 of article 118).

"In case of proven guilt of the surgeon Lonskaya she faces up to four years of imprisonment and deprivation of the right to engage in professional activities - in fact, this is the main thing that I and my confidante want to achieve in court," he said.

In late December, the court sent Lonskaya under house arrest.

Plastic surgery on eyelid lift was performed in the fall of 2023 in the clinic "Klazko". The surgery was unsuccessful, the woman almost lost her vision and underwent several more operations to correct the results of blepharoplasty.
