Mishustin approved a unified plan to achieve national development goals

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Thursday, January 9, approved a unified plan to achieve national development goals until 2030 and in the future until 2036. This was reported on the website of the Russian government.

It is noted that the plan will become the main reference point in the work of the Cabinet, ministries, departments, regional administrations, development institutions and state companies to fulfill the tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"In the next three years, the draft federal budget envisages almost 19 trillion rubles for the implementation of national projects. The plan will link the [May] decree, 19 national projects and more than 40 state programs, as well as sectoral and regional strategies, road maps, regulations, investment programs of state corporations," the prime minister said.

Mishustin also emphasized that the unified plan will include tasks to increase the birth rate and life expectancy of Russians, increase incomes and ensure technological sovereignty. The realization of the plan will be controlled by a digital model, which will allow monthly tracking of progress in achieving the goals.

Earlier, on May 7, 2024, Putin signed a decree on the national development goals of the state for the period until 2030 and in the future until 2036. The decree envisages seven groups of goals. The first of them is aimed at preserving the population, improving the health and well-being of people in Russia, as well as supporting the family.

The goals are also set to realize the potential of each person, create a comfortable and safe living environment and achieve environmental well-being.

In addition, the goals are set to develop a sustainable and dynamic economy, achieve technological leadership and digital transformation of state and municipal administration, economy and social sphere.
