In case of freezing of engine oil in a car, the engine should not be restarted, it may damage its components. This was warned by Sintec Lubricants technical expert Pavel Bakharev, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported on January 9.

Oil can freeze because of its viscosity class, which does not correspond to winter conditions, the expert explained. To warm up the units, you should use a preheater or a heater in the garage.

If there are no such devices, you can heat the crankcase pan with a hot water heater or a construction hair dryer, he said. Another effective way - with the help of a tow truck to move the car to a warm box, to a service station or car wash.

The materials of the car and its technical fluids have a high fire hazard, the specialist pointed out. Therefore, open flames (lighters, burners, heat guns) should not be used for heating.

On January 3, it was reported that Haval stopped selling F7x cars in Russia. The model is no longer represented on the official website of the Chinese manufacturer brand on the Russian market. The remaining Haval F7x is still available at dealers.
