The roof of a building on Vrubel Street in the north of Moscow caught fire, the area of the fire is 300 square meters. This was reported in the Russian Emergencies Ministry on January 8.

"On Vrubel Street the roof of the building under reconstruction caught fire. <...> There is no information about casualties," the department said in its Telegram channel.

The group of specialists, who extinguish the fire, increased to 74 people. In addition, 19 units of equipment are involved in the elimination of the fire.

Earlier, on January 4, on the street Pervomayskaya in the east of Moscow there was a fire in a store on the first floor of a residential building, the area amounted to 30 square meters. m. In addition, the flames affected the balconies of apartments on the second floor, but the housing itself did not spill over. 24 people were evacuated from the building.
