In Mineralnye Vody, 18 passengers, including 12 children, with acute intestinal infection were taken off the train Tynda - Kislovodsk. This was reported on January 8 by the source of "Izvestia".

It is specified that 12 people were hospitalized, they are in a state of average severity. Another six passengers are staying in the sanatorium of Mineralnye Vody.

Other details of the accident are being clarified.

Earlier, on December 28, 2024, Rospotrebnadzor suspended the work of the cafe "History" in Kaliningrad for 10 days after an intestinal infection was detected in children who visited the institution. In addition, during an unscheduled inspection of the cafe, the agency's specialists found violations of sanitary and epidemiological norms in the organization of catering, which was confirmed by unsatisfactory results of laboratory analyses of cooked food.
