Criminal case opened after mass poisoning of people in Perm bakeries

Law enforcement authorities have opened a criminal case over the fact of mass poisoning of Perm residents in bakeries. This was reported on January 8 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the region.

It is specified that the criminal case was initiated under Part 1 Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements"). In the near future, investigators will examine the scene, as well as interrogate the management of the institution and the victims.

"The progress of the investigation of the criminal case is under control in the apparatus of the investigative Department", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

An outbreak of salmonellosis was recorded in Perm on Tuesday, January 7. The sick connected their condition with the consumption of food from the bakery "Khlebnitsa". Employees of Rospotrebnadzor checked the establishments and found "non-compliance with the flow of technological process, violation of inventory labeling". The three bakeries, as well as the preparation shop, were closed for periods from 30 to 90 days.
