A DHC-8 passenger plane that departed from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk returned to the point of departure for technical reasons. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office in Telegram on January 8.

"Today at 14:40 (6:40 Moscow time - Ed.) at A.P. Chekhov Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk International Airport, a passenger plane DHC-8, flying Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - Yuzhno-Kurilsk, made a return to the airport of departure due to technical reasons," the report says.

There were 68 passengers on board, the landing took place without incident. On the fact of the forced return of the aircraft organized a check.
