Saratov and Engels were subjected to a massive attack of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) tonight. This was reported by the Governor of the Saratov region Roman Busargin on January 8.
"There is damage at one of the industrial enterprises. According to preliminary information, no one was injured," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Busargin also informed that emergency services are working on the site.
Earlier in the day, Yuri Slyusar, the acting governor of the Rostov region, reported about five destroyed UAVs over the region. As the head of the region noted, there were no casualties or damage as a result of the attempted attack.
Also on the night of January 8, the governor of the Saratov region Roman Busargin said that the air defense forces eliminated an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the sky above the city of Engels, the debris hit an industrial facility.
