Last year Muscovites donated over 374 million rubles to charity. This was reported by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.

"Citizens help children, senior citizens, large families, participants of the NWO, educational, scientific and environmental programs, homeless animals," the mayor wrote in his Telegram-channel.

More than 74 million rubles Muscovites sent to non-profit organizations using the charity service on the mos.ru portal. The recipients of contributions "report on the use of the collected funds and share the stories of their wards", Sobyanin specified.

According to him, on donations from benefactors it was possible, in particular, to organize an inclusive summer camp for players of children's adaptive hockey teams from all over Russia. "Also on donations was organized tutor support for children with autism spectrum disorders," - added the mayor.

Over 300 million rubles were donated by participants of the city loyalty program "Million Prizes". One of the largest charitable actions was the project "People's Front. Everything for Victory", Sobyanin specified.

In December in Moscow started a charitable action "Good Christmas tree", within the framework of which it is possible to present a gift to children left without parents, having limited possibilities of health or living in low-income families. As Sergey Sobyanin told, "the dreams of children are very different, but quite feasible - tickets to the theater or amusement parks, sets for creativity, educational games, musical instruments and toys". The action will last until February 28.
