A criminal case was opened in Petrozavodsk after a gas explosion in a residential building. This was reported on January 7 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Karelia in Telegram-channel.

January 6, it was reported that a domestic gas explosion occurred in the house № 19 on Lunacharskogo Street in Petrozavodsk and the interior wall collapsed. Four people were injured as a result of the incident.
