Ak Bars player Nikita Dynyak's phone fell out during a KHL match
During a regular season Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) match on January 6, Ak Bars Kazan forward Nikita Dynyak's phone fell out on the ice.
The referees had to stop the match after a cell phone was found on the ice. When the referee arrived at the Kazan bench, Dynyak admitted that the smartphone belonged to him.
The forward was able to avoid punishment. Ex-arbiter Leonid Vaisfeld explained it by the absence of a ban on cell phones in hockey rules.
The match was held against the Omsk "Avangard", the meeting ended in their favor with a score of 3:1. In the composition of the Kazans distinguished striker Artem Galimov, who realized a shootout.
Earlier, on December 30, 2024, the president of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Alexander Dyukov assessed the performance of the Omsk hockey team "Avangard" in the current season of the KHL. According to him, despite the failed start in the championship, the team was able to significantly improve results and rise in the rankings.
