The first deputy head of the presidential administration, Sergey Kiriyenko, has made presents to four children from the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) as part of the "Christmas Tree of Wishes" charity event. This was reported by the head of the region Leonid Pasechnik on January 6.
"During a visit to our Republic, the first Deputy head of the administration of the Russian President Sergei Kirienko fulfilled the dreams of four young residents of the region within the framework of the action "Christmas tree of wishes"," he wrote in Telegram-channel.
Three brothers of three, six and 11 years old received constructors and a toy railroad as a gift, and another 10-year-old boy Kirienko gave a sports backpack.
The day before, within the framework of the "Christmas Tree of Wishes", Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov fulfilled the dream of 14-year-old Vladimir from Odintsovo near Moscow. The teenager wanted to see a real panda, so the Minister organized a personal excursion to the Moscow Zoo for the child.
The "Wishing Tree" charity event is a project of the Russian "Movement of the First" with the support of Rosmolodezh, which has been taking place since 2018 and lasts from mid-November to the end of February. Thanks to the campaign, children aged 3-17 who find themselves in a difficult life situation get the opportunity to fulfill a cherished wish or receive a gift for the New Year. In 2023, the Wishing Tree started on November 15 and runs until February 28, 2024.
