Two civilians injured in AFU UAV attack on Belgorod village
Two civilians have been injured after a Ukrainian drone attack on the village of Rzhevka in Belgorod Region. This was reported by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on January 6.
"An AFU drone attacked the village of Rzhevka in the Shebekinsky district. Two civilians were wounded. One man has shrapnel wounds to the face, chest and arm, the second has a shrapnel wound to the head, barotrauma and contusion," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Gladkov specified that the victims are being transported to the city hospital No. 2 of Belgorod. In addition, as a result of dropping an explosive device from a drone, four cars were damaged, windows were broken and facades were cut in two apartment buildings.
Earlier in the day, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz , reported the destruction of the drone over the region. He specified that there were no casualties and destruction as a result of the incident. Operational and emergency services are working on the site.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
