The number of people killed in a fire in an apartment building in the village of Kilmez in Kirov region has risen to six. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry on January 5.
"In the Kirov region during the dismantling of the rubble the bodies of three dead were found. <...> The total number of dead - six people," - stated in the message in Telegram-channel.
It is specified that works on dismantling and pouring of constructions continue.
About the fire in the village of Kilmez in the Kirov region became known earlier in the day. According to the regional head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an apartment building caught fire, the fire area amounted to 480 square meters. m. According to the source of "Izvestia", the incident occurred in Sadovy Lane. The house was inhabited by elderly people who were provided with social housing.
Soon the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, said that 11 people lived in the house. He also claimed two deaths as a result of the fire. Then their number increased to four, and later to five.
