One person died in a fire in St. Petersburg
A man was killed in a fire in Nevsky district of St. Petersburg. About it on January 5 reported in the GU of the Ministry of emergency Situations of Russia in the city.
"In a two-room apartment with an area of 50 square meters there was burning of furnishings in the room and the corridor on a total area of 25 square meters," - specified in the message in the Telegram-channel.
In extinguishing the fire were involved 17 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and four units of equipment. 13 people were evacuated from the house. The fire was liquidated in less than an hour after its start.
Earlier, on January 4, as a result of a fire on the balcony of an apartment in the center of St. Petersburg, a woman was injured. She was taken to a medical facility. The area of the fire amounted to 3 square meters. 15 EMERCOM specialists and three units of equipment worked on the site.
