The inspection was launched after an hours-long train delay in Moscow
In Moscow, an inspection was launched after hours-long delay of an electric train. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office on January 5.
"The Northern Transport Prosecutor's Office is conducting an inspection of the observance of passenger rights on the fact of the delay in the movement of the electric train Khimki - Khovrino on the second main track of the station Khovrino", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.
It was preliminarily established that the cause of the delay was the breakage of the contact network. The press service noted that all the circumstances will be checked, as well as assessed the actions of employees of the October railroad. Later it was specified that the movement of the electric train was restored.
Earlier, on November 10 last year, it was reported that a man, crossing the railway tracks in an inappropriate place at the station Vykhino in Moscow, fell under the train and received injuries. Due to the incident on the railroad there were delays in the movement of trains of Kazan direction and MCD-3.
