The governor of the Bryansk region reported the destruction of 13 UAVs over the region

Air defense forces have destroyed 13 drones over the Bryansk region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on January 5.

"Over the territory of the Bryansk region, air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry have detected and destroyed 13 unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz pointed out that there were no casualties or damage as a result of the attack, and emergency services are working on the site.

Earlier in the day, interim head of the region Yuri Slyusar reported the destruction of the AFU UAV. He specified that no one was injured in the attack. The servicemen continue to repel the attack.

Later, Slyusar said that residential houses and cars were damaged by UAV debris in Taganrog and Novobessergenovka village. He specified that in total the emergency services received reports from residents of four households. There are no casualties or fires as a result of falling debris, the damage caused is being clarified.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
