In Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), four civilians were injured when explosive objects were dropped from Ukrainian drones in two settlements. This was reported by the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko on January 4.
The incident occurred in the settlements of Ozyaryanivka and Korolenko.
"Three civilians of Horlivka were injured as a result of dropping an explosive object. <...> A civilian was wounded in Korolenko settlement," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Earlier in the day, Prikhodko reported the shelling of the Komsomolets residential area by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), resulting in the wounding of 10 civilians. As local residents told Izvestia, the cassettes fell under the store, people were wounded, there was a lot of blood. One woman had a severe neck wound, four others had shrapnel wounds to their arms and legs - they called an ambulance. However, one of the men was able to get away on his own.
Later in the day, the Ukrainian armed forces attacked Gorlovka again. A Ukrainian drone hit a civilian car. The car burned out completely. One of the shells hit the building of the Palace of Culture "Komsomolets". The shell penetrated the wall of the second floor of the building, where the assembly hall is located.
