Two civilians were injured by AFU shelling in Horlivka over 24 hours
Two people were injured in Gorlovka of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) during the day as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the head of the region Denis Pushilin on January 3.
"Two civilians suffered today as a result of Kiev aggression," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Pushilin specified that a woman was injured in the Central City district and a man was wounded in the Nikitovsky district. Both are being provided with qualified medical assistance.
In addition, according to Pushilin, 11 houses were damaged, as well as the House of Culture in the Nikitovsky district.
As the DNR head added, the AFU used rocket artillery and barrel artillery of 155 mm caliber, including cluster-type artillery. In total, there were more than 10 armed attacks.
Earlier, on January 1, Pushilin reported that five people were injured as a result of the Ukrainian attack in the DNR. In the village of Panteleymonovka, two women and one man suffered moderate injuries due to the use of rocket artillery by the AFU. The identity of another victim is being established.
Ukrainian militants are shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the background of the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
