The governor of the Orel region reported the destruction of four Ukrainian UAVs

Air defense forces have destroyed four Ukrainian drones over the Orel Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Andrei Klychkov on January 2.

"The Orel region has again become a target for enemy attacks. Four UAVs were shot down in the sky in the region," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Klychkov specified that as a result of the attack there are no casualties and destruction, and operational services are working on the site.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense forces destroyed seven Ukrainian UAVs over four regions of Russia. It is specified that two drones each were destroyed over the Belgorod, Bryansk and Orel regions, one - over the Kursk region.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
