Residential houses and cars were damaged in Panteleymonovka after AFU shelling
As a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of the village of Panteleymonovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), residential houses and cars were damaged and windows were broken. Images of the consequences of the shelling published "Izvestia".
It is noted that the AFU militants were shelling the village of Panteleymonovka with an American multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) HIMARS. As noted by Izvestia correspondent Yevgeny Bykovsky, a whole package of shells was fired at residential houses.
"Despite the fact that the New Year's night in Donetsk and the entire DNR was quiet, already on January 1 the AFU struck the village of Panteleymonovka, which is the southern outskirts of Gorlovka. A missile fell right in the center of the courtyard, cars were burned, and windows in three residential buildings were completely broken. At the moment we know about at least five wounded civilians," he said.
Earlier in the day, the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin said that five civilians were injured in the AFU shelling. He added that a house, a school, two cars and a fire and rescue station were damaged during the attack by the Ukrainian military in Gorlovka. In Panteleymonovka two apartment buildings were damaged.
Before that, the mayor of Gorlovka Ivan Prikhodko said that the Ukrainian militants at night struck the center of the city. He noted that the arrival of the AFU shell was recorded on the roadway on Ostapenko Street.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
