An air alert has been declared in Sevastopol
An air alert has been announced in Sevastopol. This was reported by the Governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhayev on December 26.
"Attention everyone! Air alert!" - he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Ground and sea public transportation stopped working in the city.
The governor's message was published at 15:32 Moscow time. Also at 14:56 Moscow time in the Telegram-channel of the press service of the Crimean bridge appeared a statement about the blocking of traffic at the facility.
Earlier, on December 20, the governor of Sevastopol said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) released false targets in the direction of the city.
Before that, on December 11, air defense forces ( Air Defense Forces ) shot down five AFU drones over Sevastopol, while electronic warfare (EW) suppressed two more.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories amid the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
