Schedule of USE in 2025: exam dates, retake days
At the end of the academic year, 11th grade students take the Unified State Examination (USE), which is required to graduate from school and receive a certificate. The dates of the final exams are already known. The unified schedule for all schools on December 12 appeared on the official Internet portal of legal information. "Izvestia" tells what dates are set for the main and early stages of the USE and how the exams will be held in 2025.
Schedule of the main stage of the USE in 2025
In the main period of the USE the majority of schoolchildren graduating in the new year will take the exams. This period of exams for them will begin from the end of May and will be completed closer to the middle of June:
- May 23 (Friday) - history, literature and chemistry,
- May 27 (Tuesday) - mathematics (basic and profile level),
- May 30 (Friday) - Russian language,
- June 2 (Monday) - social studies and physics,
- June 5 (Thursday) - biology, geography and foreign languages (written part),
- June 10 and 11 (Tuesday and Wednesday) - informatics and foreign languages (oral part).
Schedule of the early stage of the USE in 2025
The early stage is intended for 11th grade students who have fully completed the curriculum and successfully passed the final essay, as well as for graduates of previous years. It will last from the end of March to mid-April:
- March 21 (Friday) - geography and literature,
- March 25 (Tuesday) - Russian language,
- March 28 (Friday) - mathematics (basic and profile levels),
- April 1 (Tuesday) - biology, physics and foreign languages (written part),
- April 4 (Friday) - foreign languages (oral part),
- April 8 (Tuesday) - computer science and social studies,
- April 11 (Friday) - history and chemistry.
How the USE will be held in 2025
No significant changes are expected in the format and structure of the exam in 2025. To pass the USE, you need to finish the year without academic debts, get credit for the final essay and admission from the school's pedagogical council.
The duration of the exams will not change either. For fulfillment of tasks on literature, biology, computer science and physics 3 hours 55 minutes are given. The same amount of time is allocated for mathematics of the profile level, for the basic level - 3 hours. The USE in Russian language, social science, history and chemistry lasts 3 hours 30 minutes, in foreign languages (written part) - 3 hours 10 minutes. The exams will start at exactly 10:00 local time.
Last year graduates were given the opportunity to retake one exam of their choice. It will remain in 2025. The retake is scheduled for July 3 and 4. Those who "failed" compulsory subjects - Russian language and mathematics of the basic level - will be able to retake them on September 4 and 8.
When and how to find out the results of USE-2025
The results usually become known within one or two weeks after the exam. All results are published on the information portal of the Unified State Examination. A graduate only needs to enter his or her full name and passport data, or a personal USE registration code. You can also find out about your successes on the websites of regional education authorities and through the portal "Gosuservices".
