The State Duma said about the growth of salaries of state employees from 2025

In Russia, salaries of doctors, teachers and other public sector workers will rise by 13.2% from January 1, 2025. This was announced by MP Svetlana Bessarab on Monday, December 9.

From January 1 in the Russian Federation, the minimum wage (MROT) is set at 22,440 rubles, specifies 360.ru.

Bessarab noted that the increase in the minimum wage will primarily affect the salaries of public sector employees.

"Salaries of budgetary employees will already from January 1, 2025 will increase by 13.2%. People will receive an advance payment for the first half of January already taking into account this growth", - explained the MP in conversation with the website aif.ru.

The deputy specified that we are talking about an increase in income of about 4 million Russians. In addition, thanks to the increase in the minimum wage will increase the wages of about 1.7 million workers in the real economy.

Earlier, on November 18, it became known that 70% of companies in Russia in 2024 increased wages. According to experts, most often - in 45% of cases - their increase was due to an increase in salary or salary and bonus at once (41%), 13% of employers limited themselves to increasing bonuses. In 51% of cases, income growth amounted to 5-10%, in 37% - 10-20%, and in 9% - 21% or more. At the same time, 58% of employers plan to increase salaries in 2025.

On October 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the minimum wage for 2025 in the amount of 22,440 rubles, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".
