The head of the poisoned by dichlofos family, in which four children died, was charged under the article on causing death by negligence (part 3 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He pleaded guilty, reports the SUSK RF in the region. The 34-year-old man faces four years in prison. The head of the family himself does not believe in the version with dichlorophos, reports REN TV.
"In general, I do not agree that it is dichlophos. Because well, what is it? It is necessary to fill the whole house with dichlophos? I do not agree with the expertise that it is dichlofos," said Dmitry Vinogradov.
The man emphasized that he admitted guilt in the incident, if the cause of poisoning of his children was actually insect repellent.
"If it is actually dichlofos, then, of course, yes - it was me who sprayed it, but I don't believe it was dichlofos," said the father of the dead children.
He said that his wife, who lost four children, is in a bad moral state, but her health has normalized after the poisoning.
According to the results of medical examination, the cause of death of the boy and three girls was the ingestion of insecticide. However, for the period of investigative measures it was decided not to arrest the father, while he remained on his own recognizance.
During interrogation, the head of the family told investigators that he did not provide sufficient ventilation of the house after the treatment of the premises with insecticide, only the vent was open in the house, which led to the fatal poisoning of children.
Recall, in September in the village of Krasnaya Sopka there was a terrible tragedy: four children died in a large family. On the night of September 20-21, all members of the family showed signs of poisoning. In the morning they went to the hospital and at first considered the cause of poisoning bought in the store dumplings.
Shortly after noon, a six-year-old girl died, and by evening - her 13-year-old brother. The next day, an 11-year-old girl and her 12-year-old sister died. In addition, traces of the substance were found on the fur of a kitten, which also died.
The father and pregnant mother survived, but spent four days in intensive care and learned about the death of all their children only on September 25, when they regained consciousness.
REN TV writes that at the funeral of the dead children, many residents of Krasnaya Sopka could not hold back tears, even men were crying. Parents, as told by locals, were heartbroken and did not move away from the coffins.

Why children died of dichlofos poisoning
Investigators considered various versions of what happened. The first one was the version about poisoning by low-quality food from the supermarket, but after checking it was not confirmed. The second was the version that during the preparation of dinner children accidentally poured insecticide into the food, but this version did not stand up to scrutiny.
The third, most incredible version turned out to be true. The expert examination found that the cause of poisoning was dichlofos, which shortly before the death of children poisoned insects.
According to the agency, poisons from dichlofos, which chaotically sprayed the head of the family, got on all surfaces of the house and things, including clothes, toys and household items. Because the room was poorly ventilated, the children received a critical dose of poison. Medics were powerless to help them.

According to him, the most dangerous is poisoning with nerve agent or systemic action. The first signs of poisoning are headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, salivation, convulsions, visual disturbance and anxiety, Ivanov said. If they occur, it is important to immediately take the victim out into fresh air and provide him with rest.
If the insecticide got on the skin or mucous membranes, you should immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of water.
