The second All-Russian award ceremony named after Sergei Puskepalis was held in Moscow. Laureates and participants of the ceremony on September 21 spoke about their impressions.

The award "Postupok" is given to people who help to strengthen Russian culture in Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Actor Sergei Puskepalis, whose name it is named after, has done a lot in this area. Two years ago, the artist died when he was ferrying an armored car for the military involved in a special operation.

"The man we said goodbye to suddenly, I can't get over until now, left a huge mark that made people out of us," shared TV host Leonid Yakubovich.

This year the award was given to actors Alexander Mikhailov and Yevgeny Knyazev, poet Ilya Reznik, singer Tatyana Sidyakina, volunteer Daria Lanko and the staff of the Donetsk puppet theater. Their contributions varied: some held concerts for the Russian military on the front lines, others organized creative meetings with the children of Donbass, and still others brought humanitarian aid.

"All those people who do these deeds, they just live it, they in no way think about what the deed should do, it's their life," said People's Artist of Russia Yevgeny Knyazev.

The laureates were awarded statuettes in the form of cranes and a cash prize, which they will send to the needs of the special operation. Last year's awardees also used the money they received. For example, actress Yana Poplavskaya said that she had received Br500 thousand, which immediately went to purchase equipment for the military. The actress added that she would very much like the people who will head the cultural front to be like Puskepalis.

Earlier, on March 5, the winner of the National Internet Content Award, established by the Internet Development Institute (IDI) in the category "Music Video", was the performer Dima OM, who made a music video "Dima Doma" about Donbass. The musician said that he himself came from this region and emphasized that Donbass is now in safe hands.
