Every year on May 9, Moscow hosts the Victory Day Parade, dedicated to the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. And 2025 will be no exception: in honor of the 80th anniversary of the memorable event, military personnel and columns of military equipment will once again march through Red Square. Izvestia tells us who is invited to watch the march firsthand and from where else you can watch the Victory Day Parade.

The solemn event always takes place on Red Square. But you can only get there with a ticket in hand. You can't buy it anywhere: invitations are issued only to veterans, their relatives, high-ranking guests and media representatives. The tickets are distributed by the organizers several months before the Victory Day Parade. There are about 1.5–2 thousand seats in the stands.

Usually, from the Red Square from Nizhni Mnevniki, the column moves along Zvenigorodskoye highway and turns off at the Garden Ring. Next, the vehicle passes along Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street and follows Tverskaya Street, where a stop is planned.

The equipment is returning via Kremlevskaya Embankment, Vozdvizhenka Street, Novy Arbat, with a turn to Sadovoye Koltso and Zvenigorodskoe highway.

One of the best viewing points is considered to be the corner of Novinsky Boulevard and Novy Arbat, as well as Sadovo-Kudrinskaya Square. The audience is also lining up on the Garden Ring, along Krasnaya Presnya Street and Zvenigorodskoye Highway, in the Bulgakov Museum area.
