Public exercises will be held in Pskov on National Unity Day

A public exercise dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia will be held in Pskov. The event will take place on November 4, National Unity Day. It's a public holiday.

According to the Pskov news feed, with reference to the directorate of sports facilities of the city, charging will begin at 11:00, at the Mashinostroitel stadium. Participants will enjoy a mix of vigorous warm-up and dance moves. People with any level of training can practice.

Earlier it was reported that retail alcohol sales will be banned in nine regions of Russia throughout the day on November 4 — National Unity Day. Restrictions will apply in Vologda, Kurgan, Tambov, Tyumen and Kherson regions. It will also be impossible to buy alcohol in the Altai Republic, Buryatia, Perm Krai and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.

At the federal level, alcohol sales are prohibited from 23:00 to 08:00 local time. At the same time, the regions have the right to impose additional restrictions, including a ban on the sale of alcohol on certain dates.
