The new Russian car brand Jeland has sold more than 10 thousand cars.

The Russian car brand Jeland, created as part of a strategic partnership between AGR Holding and the Chinese company Defetoo, has sold 10,000 vehicles in the country since the launch of sales. This is stated in the message of the brand's press service, which was received by Izvestia on October 22.

The jubilee car was the Jeland J6 all-wheel drive crossover in the maximum Prestige configuration in the dark emerald color.

In June, 1,053 Jeland vehicles were sold, and by September sales had increased to 2,720 units. In September, the J6 became the brand's bestseller, accounting for 77% of total sales for the month. In addition, the car entered the top 5 best-selling compact crossovers (B-SUVs) in Russia, the company noted.

The Jeland J6 AWD is powered by a 1.6-liter turbo engine with 150 hp, paired with a 7-speed robotic transmission. Production of the J6 has been established at the full-cycle automobile plant of the AGR holding in Shushary (St. Petersburg).

On the same day, it was reported that the Russian car brand Tenet will expand the T4L family with a crossover with an all-wheel drive system. The local full-cycle production of the Tenet T4L is organized at the automobile plant of the AGR holding in Kaluga.
