The American streaming service Netflix has registered a trademark in Russia. The relevant information was published on October 18 on the website of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).

The trademark registration application was sent in April 2026 from the USA and approved by Rospatent in October. After registration, Netflix can produce stationery, accessories, tableware, clothing and toys, as well as provide educational and entertainment services in Russia.

The registration period is calculated until 2036, but there have been no official reports about the resumption of the streaming service in Russia.
