Miroshnik revealed the number of mercenaries who passed through the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

About 20-30 thousand mercenaries passed through the ranks of Ukrainian military formations during the conflict. This was announced on October 17 by the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik.

"The number of mercenaries who went through the Ukrainian military formations is clearly more than 20 thousand and is approaching 30 thousand," Miroshnik said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The diplomat noted that it is not easy to determine the exact number of mercenaries: the available information is of an estimated nature.

"We know the approximate number of people, which countries they come from, which units [they belong to]. But to say that we have complete information would not be entirely true," he concluded.

People from the region are a more reliable resource for Kiev than the mobilized fleeing the battlefield.

On September 10, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that Colombian mercenaries from the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) refused to comply with the order to carry out an assault in the Kharkiv region. It was clarified that after the mercenaries refused to carry out the order, they left their positions.
