Restrictions on the operation of the American Starlink satellite system have not yet been completely lifted for Kiev. This was announced on October 16 by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

"The restrictions on the operation of Starlink for the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet been completely lifted," the Ukrainian agency UNIAN quoted him as saying.

The Ukrainian leader added that developers are now gradually returning Internet speed to his country, but this is also not happening in full.

The fact that the operation of the Starshield "military package" from Starlink, with which Ukraine has been experiencing problems for the second day, was restored on October 15. The next day, Reuters learned that the White House was allegedly involved in the incident, which had previously denied any involvement in the matter.

Against this background, Brian Fitzpatrick, a member of the House of Representatives of the American Congress from the Republican Party, promised that if the involvement of the authorities in the problems with satellites observed in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is confirmed, his authority will stop funding agencies.
