The Russian brand Aurus has announced the start of accepting orders for the updated Senat sedan. The updated model first debuted in the spring of 2024 in the form of a presidential limousine. The cost of the car starts from 48.5 million rubles, and the customization of the exterior and interior can increase the price by another 10 million rubles, <url> Magazine said on October 16.

The sedan received a redesigned grille and bumpers, adaptive lighting with welcome animation, and new wheel rims. The body color scheme has been updated with three new shades. The interior has updated the interface of the multimedia system and the design of the dashboard, installed a new steering wheel and a digital rear-view mirror. Instead of the traditional transmission selector, a block of buttons in the shape of a concave pyramid is used.

The equipment also includes systems for monitoring driver fatigue and night vision with a thermal imager. The manufacturer claims improved seats, the settings of which have been moved to the door panels. As before, Russian-made materials are used for interior decoration.

The power plant has not undergone any changes. The nearly 5.7-meter Aurus Senat sedan is equipped with an all-wheel drive hybrid system based on a 4.4-liter V8 engine with a capacity of 598 hp (880 Nm) with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration from a standstill to a hundred takes 6 seconds, and the maximum speed is 250 km/h. The curb weight of the car is 3235 kg.
