Khabarovsk Territory will be covered by a cyclone from China
Adverse weather events are expected in the Khabarovsk Territory. A cyclone from China will bring rain and snow to the region.
Precipitation is expected in the north of the region on Saturday, October 17. However, due to the anticyclone, they are not expected in most of the region on this day, writes IA AmurMedia with reference to the Far Eastern UGMS.
However, on Sunday, October 18, the cyclone will leave the territory of China, and rains will begin in the southern and central regions of the region, with sleet in the Verkhnebureinsky district. In some places, the wind may increase to 14 m/s.
The temperature at night will drop to -6 degrees, during the day, due to clouds and precipitation, about +11 degrees is expected.
Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center, reported on October 11 that the first snow in Moscow this year could fall much later than the long-term average. According to him, in the 21st century, the average date of the first snowfall in the capital falls on October 18, and temporary snow cover usually forms by November 3, but this year there is a high probability of a later onset of both phenomena.
