Five people who had contact with a person with suspected smallpox were hospitalized in the Moscow region. This was announced on October 15 by the regional Ministry of Health.

"Anti—epidemic measures are being carried out in the Moscow region, as part of which 5 people who came into contact with an allegedly infected monkey pox were hospitalized for preventive purposes," the publication says in the Maks messenger.
