The suspect in the shooting of the Ukrainian military in the Kharkiv region was detained

A military man suspected of shooting dead five Ukrainian militants in the Kharkiv region has been detained. This was announced on October 14 at the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

According to the agency, on October 13, a military man opened fire on militants of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), then left the scene, got rid of his weapon and headed through a forest strip in the direction of Kharkov, where he was detained.

The Ukrainian edition of "Country.ua" reports that the military did not act alone, the second suspect is still being sought.
