A man died in a fire in an apartment in Irkutsk.

The man's body was found while extinguishing a fire in an apartment of a multi-storey building in Irkutsk. The cause of gorenje could be carelessness when smoking.

Information about the fire was received from Alexander Nevsky Street. According to IrkutskMedia news agency, 12 people left the house on their own, and five more residents were helped out by employees of the gas and smoke protection service.

The gorenje area was 6 sq. m. During extinguishing, the body of a 52-year-old man was found in the room of the affected apartment.

Criminal cases have been opened in the Saratov region against a man who set fire to a metal trailer containing his wife and a 43-year-old man. The second victim died.
