Outdoor lighting lines will be built on General Margelov Street in Pskov

Pskov announced the search for a contractor for the construction of outdoor lighting lines on General Margelov Street. This is reported by the Pskov News feed with reference to the documentation of the relevant auction on the public procurement portal.

Lighting is planned to be installed all along General Margelov Street, from the intersection with Yubileynaya to the railway crossing. The contractor will have to install 48 lighting poles and hang a wire with a length of almost 2.8 km.

The maximum value of the contract will be 16.376 million rubles. It is planned to complete the work by the middle of December this year.

Meanwhile, the publication clarifies that the purpose of the work is to improve road safety. There have been fatal pedestrian assaults on Margelov.

Earlier it was reported that in Pskov, by the end of 2026, they plan to renovate Parovoznaya Street. The 392-meter-long section from Zheleznodorozhnaya to Machinista Lane is subject to renovation.
