In Transbaikalia, they want to limit the sale of alcohol in establishments with an area of more than 500 square meters. m after 23:00. About 30 facilities in the region will be banned, said Olga Makarova, deputy head of the regional tariff and pricing service.

"Among them, for example, the club on Selenginskaya Street, which was already subject to restrictions, but continued to sell alcohol at the wrong time. The restrictions will also affect the club on Lazo Street and the club on Bogomyagkova," the official explained.

Currently, the regional law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages from 23:00 to 12:00 in bars located in apartment buildings and adjacent territories with an area of less than 500 square meters. m. It is proposed to eliminate the area restriction, leaving only restaurants.

As Makarova noted, a licensed restaurant can sell alcohol around the clock. It is difficult to obtain a document: there is not a single such object in the region's license registry yet. All drinking establishments operate as cafes and bars.

Such facilities will appear in the future, writes ChitaMedia news agency. They will have to meet the standards: have a full-fledged kitchen, a branded menu, a wardrobe, lobbies and halls. Only if you have all of the above, you can get a license.

Earlier it was reported that in Transbaikalia they plan to increase fines for repeated violations of the rules of retail sale of alcohol. Officials face fines of up to 180 thousand rubles, and legal entities — up to 400 thousand rubles.
