Six ancient buildings in Blagoveshchensk will be restored
Six historical buildings will be restored in Blagoveshchensk. An old factory, barracks and merchant houses are being prepared for the reboot.
A roadmap has been prepared for each facility. It should help not only preserve the architectural heritage, but also return abandoned or in need of repair buildings to the urban economy, writes IA PriamurMedia with reference to the regional Ministry of Construction and Architecture.
The prospects of restoration were discussed by Pavel Matyukhin, Deputy Chairman of the regional government, and representatives of DOM.RF. The list includes the Nazarova house, the Lovyagin house, the Churin grated paint factory, the barracks of the 2nd East Siberian Line Battalion, Babintsev's cottage and the surgical building of the city hospital with an operating room.
Two buildings already have private investors. Work on the preservation of the houses of Nazarova and Lovyagin has already begun. Design and estimate documentation will be prepared for the former barracks at the expense of the regional budget. Investors have not yet been found for three more monuments.
Earlier it was reported that more than 300 million rubles will be allocated for the renovation of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School in Blagoveshchensk. Funds for the renovation will come from the federal budget. Major renovation of the barracks is planned in 2027. The school's territory is gradually being transformed into a modern infrastructure site.
